Older models feature input and output dials to manage heating. The input dial controls how much electricity the heater uses overnight—the higher the setting, the more energy is used, and the more heat is stored. The output dial manages how quickly this stored heat is released. If the output is set too high, the stored heat may run out before the end of the day.
