History
Founded in 2004, Aran has delivered energy efficiency improvements and expert guidance to thousands of homeowners, residents, and building owners across the country. Since 2019, the company has adopted a comprehensive, whole-house approach—enhancing building fabric while integrating sustainable heating solutions to improve long-term energy performance.
In partnership with AgilityEco, we are set to expand our impact within the sector, with plans to scale operations and upgrade 28,000 homes by 2026.
As part of a strategic transition, Aran’s founder has stepped back towards retirement, with Mark and the leadership team seeking a partner to support the next phase of growth. AgilityEco, a specialist in nationwide turnkey retrofit programmes, brings funding through energy suppliers and local authorities. Their mission and values strongly align with ours, making them a natural fit for this partnership.
AgilityEco recognises the high standards of delivery that define Aran, along with our well-established relationships with local authorities and social housing providers. Together, there is significant opportunity to strengthen our presence in retrofit programmes, combining expertise and resources to better serve our clients.
Following the acquisition, our entire team will join AgilityEco. In the short term, we will continue operating under the Aran brand, with a gradual integration into the AgilityEco brand over time. AgilityEco will also continue delivering services through its trusted national network of experienced energy efficiency partners.
