We are passionate about promoting sustainable living and take pride in helping our customers reduce carbon emissions while tackling the challenge of rising energy costs. Working in partnership with the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme, Green City Services LTD helps eligible households access funding for vital energy improvements. This initiative not only enables homeowners to save on energy bills but also plays a key role in tackling fuel poverty and reducing the nation’s overall carbon footprint. Our mission is to create warmer, greener, and more affordable homes—one energy-saving solution at a time.
What Grants Exist?
Grant money covers the full cost of installing Insulation, Boilers, Solar Panels, Air-Source Heat Pumps and other energy-efficient modifications. The purpose of these subsidies is to lower home energy expenses and emissions.
Multiple funding options are available, allowing a home to receive both an insulation grant and one for solar panels. All assistance aims to enhance energy efficiency and EPC ratings.
The criteria can be complex, but we simplify them for you. From your initial inquiry, we will review your situation to determine eligibility for the grants. We can then manage your installation and support, serving as your single provider for home eco-funding and upgrades.

Get Energy Grants You Qualify For
Many homes don’t get the grants they’re eligible for because they incorrectly think you must get government benefits. The good news is you don’t always need benefits to qualify.
Among the choices are the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, the Great British Insulation Scheme, and the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) program. All help cut carbon emissions and lower the cost of heating homes.

FAQ
Grant funding is accessible for various measures including insulation, solar panels (and batteries), heat pumps, and new boilers. The grant money is given out without charge and is not repaid. The grants aim to assist homes in lowering energy usage to help with bills and shrink carbon footprints.
There are several schemes that provide grant help to homes to increase energy efficiency. ECO4, LA Flex, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, and the Great British Insulation Scheme are just some of the ways financing could be obtained for home eco upgrades.
You can apply for a grant if you reside in a property that’s costly to heat, or if you or someone living with you is vulnerable to cold. Money could be accessible if you’re considered a vulnerable household and get at least one of these benefits:
Income-based Jobseekers Allowance (JSA)
Income-related Employment & Support Allowance (ESA)
Income Support (IS)
Pension Credit Guarantee Credit
Working Tax Credit (WTC)
Child Tax Credits (CTC)
Universal Credit (UC)
Housing Benefit (new eligible benefit under ECO4)
Savings Credit for Pension Credits (newly qualified benefit under ECO4)
Furthermore, houses with low energy efficiency EPC ratings and those with low incomes may also be eligible. This is a departure from previous initiatives that denied many households access to funding because they required government assistance.
Grants may not always cover the entire installation cost, therefore, you may occasionally need to make a contribution. The funding most likely pays for the installation of less expensive measures like loft insulation and certain boilers. Other upgrades like solar PV systems and heat pumps are pricey to install and the grant may only partly cover costs.
Even if you don’t qualify for a grant covering the whole cost, it’s still worth applying since the grant can make a significant reduction in installation costs. Plus we may also be able to offer generous discounts.
